Position Overview The Center for Healing and Growth is seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our compassionate team on a full-time, remote basis. Work Environment This position offers the convenience and flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your own home. As part of a supportive and innovative healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully while maintaining a schedule that promotes work-life balance. While the core work hours will typically be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evenings and weekends may be required based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' psychosocial and emotional needs, tailoring interventions to their unique circumstances.

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients and their families.

Provide ongoing counseling and emotional support, offering guidance through challenging transitions and life events.

Advocate for clients’ access to necessary resources, ensuring they navigate community services effectively.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which may include healthcare providers, nurses, and caregivers, to optimize client care.

Perform regular check-ins and home visits (virtually or in-person, as necessary) to evaluate client progress and well-being.

Foster open communication with family members to address conflicts and provide educational resources to enrich client support.

Document all client interactions thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.

Stay updated on social work practices and community resources to provide clients with the most relevant information.

Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on clients in the detoxification process, often dealing with complex emotional and psychological challenges. Many clients may face co-occurring disorders or have experienced trauma, necessitating a nuanced understanding of their unique situations. Families will also be a crucial aspect of care, requiring you to navigate their concerns and educate them on supporting their loved ones in recovery.

Qualifications

A current and valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, with a strong foundation in social work principles and practices.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant social work role, preferably within a detoxification setting.

Proven ability to conduct assessments and develop care plans that reflect a deep understanding of client needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant documentation tools.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with older adults and navigating systems related to aging or addiction.

Familiarity with community resources in Tallahassee, including support groups and health-related programs.

Skills in crisis intervention and conflict resolution will be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
