Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to understand patients' needs and challenges, which will help craft individualized treatment plans.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to deliver effective counseling services to individuals and groups.
Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to foster community, share experiences, and provide valuable coping strategies for participants.
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic care for clients.
Provide crisis intervention services to clients during critical mental health emergencies, demonstrating sound judgment and ethical decision-making.
Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available resources and support within the community.
Maintain precise and confidential client records consistent with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Engage in ongoing professional development through case consultations, training sessions, and keeping abreast of new research in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at our clinic, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents who are experiencing various mental health issues. Our patients come from varying socioeconomic backgrounds, and the emotional and psychological challenges they face are as diverse as their experiences. Your expertise will be essential in helping each client find their path to recovery.
Qualifications
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Demonstrated ability to conduct meticulous mental health assessments and develop effective, individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
Experience in delivering therapeutic services to individuals and groups effectively, especially within diverse populations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster client engagement and build trusting therapeutic relationships.
Strong adherence to ethical practices and professional boundaries, demonstrating sound judgment in clinical scenarios.
Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology in daily practice.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in community health settings or outpatient clinics providing therapy.
Familiarity with treatment methodologies addressing trauma, substance abuse, or dual diagnoses.
History of successful collaboration within multidisciplinary teams offering integrated care to patients.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
