Position Overview As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Peoples Movement Psychiatric Solutions, you will be an integral part of our dedicated mental health team, providing therapeutic services to individuals dealing with complex mental health challenges. In this full-time remote position, you will conduct in-depth assessments, craft personalized treatment plans, and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive virtual psychosocial assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and areas for improvement.

Deliver evidence-based therapy and counseling services tailored to individuals, families, and group settings, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and humanistic approaches.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising healthcare providers, mental health professionals, and community resources to create a seamless continuum of care for clients.

Advocate vigorously for clients' rights, ensuring they have access to essential community resources and support services that enhance their wellbeing.

Maintain detailed and organized electronic health records, documenting client interactions, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Engage proactively in team meetings and professional development opportunities, contributing to case discussions and enhancing your clinical skills through shared knowledge and experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily focus on clients in end-of-life care within our hospice services, which requires a nuanced understanding of the psychological and social challenges associated with terminal illnesses. You will support individuals and families navigating through grief, anxiety, and other emotional responses, helping them find peace and acceptance during one of life's most significant transitions.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with demonstrated competence in social work focused on mental health.

Strong skills in conducting diagnostic assessments and developing effective treatment plans based on client feedback.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

A solid commitment to cultural competence and ethical practice within social work.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in hospice or with terminally ill clients is highly desirable.

Certification(s) in evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits
