Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
Employ a variety of therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), guiding clients through their journeys toward improved mental health outcomes.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and our organization's rigorous clinical standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engaging in regular case consultations to enhance the quality of care provided and ensuring a well-rounded approach to mental health treatment.
Provide education to patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment avenues, and available community resources to empower them through their recovery process.
Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the mental health field, integrating this knowledge into your practice to provide the best possible care to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health challenges. Our clients range from children to adults, making it essential for you to understand developmental differences and to adapt therapeutic interventions accordingly. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, enabling you to tailor interventions for each individual.
