Work Environment As a licensed clinical social worker in our outpatient mental health clinic, you will be part of a supportive and dynamic team committed to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough clinical assessments for patients to identify mental health needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.

Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques, to help patients achieve their mental health goals.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical records, adhering to organizational policies and state regulations.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care strategies.

Provide education and support for patients and their families, guiding them through treatment options and available resources.

Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mental health to integrate new methodologies into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population facing various mental health challenges. You will support individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological issues. Your expertise will not only aid in therapeutic interventions but also empower patients to navigate their personal journeys toward recovery and wellness.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

A valid LCSW license in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

Strong understanding of solution-focused therapy and other evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to empathically connect with patients, collaborate with colleagues, and document care effectively.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting, ideally within outpatient mental health services.

Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is a plus.

Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competencies in therapy.
