Position Overview Grandview Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and emotional well-being through structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

Design and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that are aligned with each client's unique needs and personal goals.

Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches during individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on their evolving needs and responses to interventions.

Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute emotional distress or emergencies.

Maintain meticulous, accurate, and confidential client records in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to care.

Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops, seminars, and supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Comply with ethical guidelines and professional standards as set forth by relevant licensing boards and organizations.

Qualifications

A relevant Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is essential.

Current and valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) is required.

Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to craft tailored therapeutic interventions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a safe and trusting environment for clients.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of three years of practical experience in a mental health counseling role, with a strong focus on outpatient therapy.

Experience utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver therapy sessions is a plus, given our remote work setting.

Compensation and Benefits
