This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to reach clients from the comfort and familiarity of your home environment. Our team operates with a strong sense of unity and support, engaging in regular virtual meetings and collaborative care planning to ensure all staff members contribute to our clients’ progress and maintain a consistent standard of excellence. While a traditional 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule is expected, some flexibility may be needed based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Live Freely, your day-to-day tasks will involve: Leading therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of emotional and relational issues. Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and treatment goals. Developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and ongoing assessments. Utilizing various therapeutic modalities to help clients cope with challenges, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused approaches. Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatric professionals, to provide integrated and holistic patient care. Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment modifications in accordance with ethical and legal standards. Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Our patient population encompasses all ages and backgrounds, with a substantial emphasis on understanding cultural and socioeconomic factors that contribute to client experiences. Your commitment to cultural competence and social justice will be integral in fostering a welcoming environment for everyone. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications: A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland. A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, with demonstrable competency in therapy practices. Proven proficiency in diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and conducting therapeutic interventions. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to establish rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds. A steadfast commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development in trauma-informed care and mental health equity. Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly desirable and will distinguish candidates: Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling. Specialization in a specific area of therapy, such as trauma-informed care, play therapy, or substance abuse counseling. Previous experience in a community health setting or similar clinical environment. Compensation and Benefits
