Key Responsibilities

Conduct virtual therapy sessions for individuals and groups, offering a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, considering their unique circumstances and backgrounds.

Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and chaplains, to create an interdisciplinary approach that addresses the holistic needs of clients.

Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential client records to track progress and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that resonate with each client to promote mental health recovery and resilience.

Patient Population / Client Focus As a Clinical Social Worker at Healing Reflections, you will primarily work with clients in a hospice setting, providing psychological support to individuals who may be facing end-of-life issues. Your role will involve assisting clients and their families to navigate emotional challenges, enhance coping mechanisms, and foster acceptance of their situations. This specific focus requires sensitivity, compassion, and a deep understanding of the emotional nuances surrounding grief, loss, and transition.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington state.

A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, preferably in mental health or hospice settings.

Strong skills in conducting diagnostic assessments and an ability to develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven capacity to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

A demonstrated commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical practice in all aspects of service delivery.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a hospice or palliative care environment, assisting those dealing with terminal illness and bereavement.

Knowledge of grief counseling techniques and methodologies to support patients and their families effectively.

Familiarity with telehealth delivery models and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
