Position Overview Gallant Young & Adult Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our fully remote team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.

Provide evidence-based therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring adherence to best practices in confidentiality and patient care.

Manage a caseload of clients, maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes in alignment with regulatory standards.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment outcomes and ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Engage in continuous professional development, staying updated with the latest therapeutic methodologies and integrating them into practice.

Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and share insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus As a counselor at Gallant Young & Adult Healthcare, you will primarily serve adult clients who are seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. You will have the chance to work with a diverse group of individuals, providing a supportive and validating environment that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications

A Master's level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited university.

An active and unrestricted license for clinical practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience providing psychotherapy, with a focus on adult populations.

Strong writing skills for session documentation and reporting, ensuring clarity and compliance with guidelines.

A clean disciplinary record with no actions taken against you by any professional licensing board.

Preferred Experience

Experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and familiarity with other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Proven ability to engage clients in a virtual setting and build rapport through online communication.

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient patient management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, alongside an additional sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
