Position Overview Horizon Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, taking into account their emotional, behavioral, and social functioning to accurately diagnose mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, utilizing culturally competent approaches.

Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that foster healing and promote mental wellness.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records through the use of electronic health records (EHRs), ensuring efficient management of care coordination and documentation.

Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay informed about the latest trends and methodologies in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will serve a diverse range of clients experiencing various mental health issues, from children and adolescents coping with academic pressures to adults navigating life transitions and trauma. This includes those facing mental health challenges influenced by socio-economic factors or cultural contexts. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be crucial in ensuring effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively establish relationships with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

Demonstrated capacity to conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans grounded in best practices.

Preferred Experience

Experience in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare software for patient management.

Previous work within community health settings or clinics, particularly with underserved populations.

Knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally relevant therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
