Position Overview Hopeful Steps Psychotherapy Center is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor. This full-time remote position allows you to provide therapeutic support to patients navigating various mental health challenges from the comfort of your own space. Work Environment This role offers a fully remote work setting, supporting flexibility and work-life balance. As part of a leading community health clinic, you will regularly engage with a multidisciplinary team that includes social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. You will utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication, ensuring efficient workflows and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their mental health status, establishing a baseline for treatment.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' needs, preferences, and goals.

Provide continuous support through regular therapy sessions, utilizing individual and group modalities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Facilitate crisis interventions as necessary, employing strong problem-solving skills to de-escalate challenging situations.

Create referrals to additional healthcare providers when needed, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to client care.

Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Your role is critical in providing tailored therapy that respects individual backgrounds and promotes healing and recovery within a sensitive and supportive framework.

Qualifications

Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience is required.

A deep understanding of various mental health disorders and effective evidence-based treatment approaches.

Familiarity with cultural competence in therapy, ensuring that care is respectful and responsive to the diverse populations served.

Preferred Experience

Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions effectively using inclusive and culturally sensitive methods.

Proficiency in crisis management and intervention skills, vital for addressing urgent client needs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with success in establishing rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Experience navigating electronic health record systems and understanding of HIPAA compliance standards.

A commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is between USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive healthcare benefits package, including:
