Work Environment
This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining a crucial connection to the school community. Employees will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with opportunities to engage virtually with students, teachers, and parents. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy targeting mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Develop customized treatment plans that align with the client’s needs, ensuring measurable and attainable goals are established in collaboration with the client.
Act as an advocate for students and families, connecting them with essential resources, such as educational support, therapy services, financial aid, and housing assistance.
Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes, including situations involving suicidal ideation, substance abuse, or severe emotional distress.
Engage in educational initiatives within the school system that promote mental health awareness, aiming to reduce stigma and enhance the understanding of mental illness among students and staff.
Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.
Participate in ongoing mentorship opportunities to support both clinical expertise and personal development.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This position focuses primarily on students, their families, and school staff, providing critical support to children and adolescents navigating various challenges. The LCSW will address a spectrum of mental health concerns while also considering the sociocultural factors impacting student well-being. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
Current and valid License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with the ability to practice independently.
Strong knowledge of best practices for therapy and case management within an educational setting.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care, emphasizing cultural competence.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
