Happy Cures Therapy Clinic is seeking a passionate and competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate each patient’s psychological condition and construct personalized treatment approaches.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and diagnoses of each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Deliver therapeutic interventions in various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in addressing emotional concerns, fostering personal growth, and improving coping mechanisms.
Engage with psychiatrists and a range of health professionals in collaborative care strategies to offer an integrated treatment experience.
Support patients during crises, providing timely interventions and creating safety plans as necessary.
Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment frameworks, and valuable community resources.
Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance your clinical skills.
Stay informed about the latest research, treatment methodologies, and industry regulations to continuously improve patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a therapist at Happy Cures Therapy Clinic, you will work with a diverse client population ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing a variety of mental health issues. Our approach centers on understanding individual backgrounds, experiences, and the specific challenges they encounter, whether related to anxiety, depression, trauma, or personality disorders. Your role is pivotal in empowering our patients, guiding them toward healing and personal empowerment.
Qualifications
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.
Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
Demonstrable skills in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, as well as creating and executing effective treatment plans.
Expertise in utilizing various therapeutic modalities and an understanding of trauma-informed care.
Strong crisis intervention capabilities and a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and build therapeutic relationships with clients.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a general comfort with computer applications.
A collaborative spirit for working in multidisciplinary teams, while upholding professional boundaries and standards.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is highly preferred.
Experience providing therapy in both individual and group formats using a variety of evidence-based approaches.
Familiarity with community resources and referral networks to enhance patient care and support.
Compensation and Benefits
