Position Overview Lighted Paths Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team as a full-time practitioner. Work Environment This position allows for flexible remote work tailored to provide the best possible support for our clients in a detox center. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic and diverse team of mental health professionals, including counselors, psychologists, and administrative staff, to foster a cohesive and efficient treatment experience. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations to assess clients’ mental health needs and formulate effective, individualized treatment plans.

Engage in continuous collaboration with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that treatment approaches are well-coordinated and holistic.

Participate in peer reviews and case consultations which contribute to your own professional development and enhance team learning.

Deliver educational workshops and informational sessions that empower patients and their families with knowledge about mental health topics and available resources.

Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in mental health, integrating new knowledge into your practice to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus The primary client focus of this position revolves around individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use. Our clients come from various backgrounds and face diverse challenges associated with addiction and mental health. As a LICSW, you will play a crucial role in addressing their unique circumstances, guiding them toward recovery with empathy, respect, and individualized attention.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, particularly with populations undergoing substance use treatment.

Preferred Experience

Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques and experience in crisis intervention settings.

Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team-based approach within mental health or addiction treatment services.
