This role offers a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while facilitating patient care. As a mental health counselor within our outpatient office structure, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, ensuring that clients receive consistent and quality therapeutic sessions. We utilize advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain seamless communication and documentation, enhancing our team's efficiency and the quality of care delivered. Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include: Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine client status and treatment needs. Developing personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique challenges, which may include anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and more. Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with coping strategies and therapeutic skills. Regularly meeting with clients to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to provide referrals and comprehensive care. Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a wide variety of patients, including adults and adolescents, who struggle with issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and substance abuse. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess: A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. A valid and current state license, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating your ability to work effectively with a variety of mental health disorders. Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional education. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management. Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is required specifically in holding this role, preference will be given to candidates who exhibit: Experience in both individual and group therapy delivery, with a strong focus on culturally responsive practices. Adept crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in high-stress environments. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from various backgrounds. Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, with an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, reflective of experience and qualifications.
