Work Environment This position operates in a telehealth setting, allowing for a flexible and innovative approach to therapy. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes other health professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care to clients across Oneida, New York, and beyond. Our remote infrastructure leverages the latest technology to facilitate seamless communication and client interactions, ensuring that therapy sessions are both engaging and effective.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine the emotional, psychological, and social needs of clients.

Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating evidence-based practices tailored to individual circumstances.

Provide ongoing mental health education to clients and their families to enhance understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

Work closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.

Stay abreast of the latest research in mental health to enhance clinical practices and provide high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse client population that may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. Your role will focus on creating a safe and supportive environment that fosters trust and encourages open communication, enabling clients to explore their difficulties and work toward meaningful personal growth.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

Active state licensure in New York as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.

Strong communication skills and proficiency in technology, enabling effective virtual therapy sessions and collaboration with the team.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is expected, demonstrating competence in working with a variety of mental health issues.

Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $95,000 annually, supplemented with a comprehensive benefits package.
