Work Environment
This position is set within a school environment, allowing for tailored psychological support that meets the needs of the student population. You will work remotely, providing services through virtual platforms, but will also engage in corresponding in-person meetings and training sessions as needed. Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Revitalize Mental Psychotherapy Center, your work will significantly contribute to the overall mental health of students. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and financial needs of students.
Providing individual and group counseling sessions focusing on issues such as adjustment difficulties, grief, anxiety, and coping strategies.
Issuing crisis intervention and emotional support to students and their families, fostering a safe and open environment for discussion of mental health concerns.
Collaborating with educators and school personnel to devise effective strategies for integrating mental health support into the educational framework.
Coordinating with community organizations to ensure seamless post-discharge services and continuity of care.
Documenting all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in alignment with legal and organizational guidelines.
Participating in meetings and committees to share insights and expertise on matters related to social work and mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary clientele will be students who may be facing various mental health challenges. This role requires a deep understanding of the social and emotional issues prevalent in educational settings, such as bullying, academic pressure, family dynamics, and other external factors affecting student behavior and performance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
