Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations, using standardized tools and client interviews to determine appropriate treatment plans.

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, enhancing their emotional and psychological resilience.

Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, tailoring approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver holistic care, discussing case plans, and ensuring comprehensive treatment pathways.

Maintain accurate clinical records using our electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements to promote accountability and transparency.

Commit to continuous professional development by attending workshops and remaining updated on the evolving landscape of mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will engage with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to cater to the varied backgrounds and circumstances of clients, offering personalized therapeutic support.

Qualifications

A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia, demonstrating your compliance with state regulations.

Strong foundational knowledge in mental health theories and therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed counselor, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams that include mental health specialists and community resources.

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 300,000 to 400,000 annually, which reflects experience and expertise.
