Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough mental health assessments, integrating psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews to establish individual needs.
Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique personal circumstances, strengths, and goals.
Utilize evidenced-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), in a remote setting to provide support to individuals and families.
Deliver crisis intervention services and work alongside healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients during acute distress.
Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines, including progress notes and treatment plans.
Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, equipping them with strategies to manage their situations effectively.
Engage in regular assessments of treatment outcomes and adjust interventions as necessary to enhance patient recovery.
Stay abreast of developments in mental health care and best practice methodologies to enrich your clinical practice.
Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure patient confidentiality in all interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LCSW at our Detox Center, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping these clients navigate their recovery process, addressing both mental health stability and substance dependency.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program required.
Active LCSW license in the state of Texas.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-disciplinary team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with substance abuse populations and familiarity with detox protocols.
Previous involvement in a remote service delivery model within the mental health sector.
Knowledge of additional therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques.
