Work Environment
As a fully remote role, our LCSWs enjoy a flexible work environment tailored to their schedules. Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day activities will involve:
Delivering psychotherapy sessions focused on mental health concerns linked to substance abuse.
Conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating tailored treatment plans that utilize best practices and solution-based interventions.
Implementing therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) customized for patients in recovery.
Maintaining thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
Educating patients and their families about mental health strategies and available community resources.
Engaging in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest research and integrating new findings into practice.
Managing a diverse caseload while consistently meeting treatment goals and adhering to ethical standards in practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our services cater primarily to individuals grappling with substance abuse challenges, who may also experience accompanying mental health issues. As an LCSW at Blue Ribbon Social Work, you will work with a diverse range of clients, from those in the early stages of recovery to those seeking ongoing support. Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
A valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Texas.
A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with a strong focus on substance abuse therapy.
Knowledge of solution-based interventions and therapeutic techniques.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience
While a year of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have experience in a Hospice or end-of-life care setting, as well as those who have worked with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated care solutions.
