Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to join our dynamic team at Sunshine Sanctuary Mental Health Services, Inc. Work Environment This role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while still promoting collaboration with your colleagues and maintaining close relationships with clients. Our outpatient office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including user-friendly video conferencing tools to ensure seamless communication and therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to clients experiencing various mental health issues, employing a wide array of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy.

Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and maintain ongoing treatment plans based on client feedback and observable outcomes, utilizing data-driven approaches to track progress.

Facilitate weekly or biweekly follow-up sessions, focusing on goal-setting and behavior modification strategies tailored to each client's individual needs.

Manage crisis situations with professionalism and empathy, utilizing your clinical judgment to provide immediate support and intervention as necessary.

Document clinical notes efficiently in our secure electronic medical record (EMR) system to ensure accurate tracking of patient information and care progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will be working with a varied client base, addressing complex mental health conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, and grief, among others. By understanding the unique experiences and backgrounds of your clients, you can deliver personalized care that resonates with their individual narratives.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

Active State Licensure as a Social Worker (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory.

No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through third-party validation.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Strong diagnostic abilities combined with clinical expertise in addressing a variety of mental health disorders.

Preferred Experience

Experience in utilizing multiple therapeutic modalities for diverse client populations.

Ability to adapt clinical approaches based on patient preferences and feedback.

Prior experience in a fast-paced clinical setting where interruptions and rapid adjustments are routine.

Comfort with digital communication tools and EMR systems.

Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
