Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapy settings, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Actively engage in continuing education and attend workshops to stay current with the latest developments in mental health research and practices.

Empower clients by providing strategies that promote emotional resilience and personal development, facilitating their journey towards improved mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients who may experience various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. By fostering positive therapeutic relationships, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

Minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting is required.

Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport with a diverse clientele.

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to coordinate and enhance patient care.

Familiarity with EMR software and associated technologies is essential.

Preferred Experience

Specialization or advanced training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.

Experience utilizing various therapeutic modalities to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Knowledge of community resources and referral systems to assist clients effectively is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
