Position Overview Grace Psychological Services is on the lookout for a dedicated Clinical Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. This full-time remote position is designed for a compassionate professional who is eager to make a tangible impact in the lives of individuals and families facing challenges related to substance abuse as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. Your expertise will be vital in providing therapy that emphasizes relational and interpersonal dynamics within both families and couples.

Key Responsibilities

Engage actively with our multi-disciplinary team to contribute positively to individual treatment plans, ensuring that our approach is holistic and comprehensive.

Provide high-quality individual, couple, and family therapy while creating a safe, welcoming space that encourages open communication and healing.

Conduct initial assessments and continuous evaluations of clients to track progress, identify needs, and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.

Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methods and personalized strategies to address specific client issues.

Monitor client situations diligently, implementing follow-ups to ensure therapeutic objectives are being met effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily individuals and families facing substance abuse challenges and co-occurring mental health disorders. This includes working with clients to navigate complex emotional landscapes, improving relational dynamics, and providing support for recovery and resilience. Understanding the intricate needs of this patient population will be key to your success in this role.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) that is not under suspension or probation.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a calming therapeutic environment.

Strong clinical skills with a focus on evidence-based practices in therapy.

Preferred Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within an outpatient therapy setting, demonstrating proficiency in assessing and treating clients effectively.

Experience working with adolescents, families, and individuals dealing with substance use and mental health challenges.
