Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' mental health needs, taking into account their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to each individual.

Execute therapeutic interventions and techniques such as solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and mindfulness practices to enhance clients' well-being.

Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and relevant ethical standards.

Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and integrated care that supports the academic and emotional development of students.

Provide education and resources to families to foster understanding and support for students' mental health challenges.

Remain informed about the latest research, trends, and advancements in mental health care, contributing to your continued professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus Our client focus includes students from various age groups, backgrounds, and life experiences. As an LICSW, you will be instrumental in addressing issues such as bullying, learning disabilities, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the students' overall quality of life and academic success by providing them with the tools they need to cope with their challenges.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

A valid and active LICSW license to practice in Washington State.

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health settings, preferably with experience working with youth.

Proficiency in evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic interventions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for engaging with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills that empower effective problem resolution.

A passion for collaborative teamwork, fostering positive relationships with clients and peers alike.

Preferred Experience

Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.

Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or collaborating in educational planning.

Training or certification in trauma-informed care or additional therapeutic methodologies is a plus.
