Work Environment As a

Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor , you will operate in an adaptive and supportive remote setting, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own space. Our outpatient office model means you will engage with clients primarily through video chat, ensuring a flexible and accommodating environment that respects your personal needs while making it easier for clients to access care.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel clients via secure video chat, providing individual therapy aimed at enhancing their mental health.

Facilitate discussions with clients to encourage exploration of their emotions and life experiences, fostering self-insight and improved relationships.

Serve as a steadfast advocate for clients, assisting them in defining achievable goals and working collaboratively toward their fulfillment.

Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans utilizing your extensive clinical expertise.

Implement solution-focused therapeutic approaches, adapting techniques as needed to meet diverse client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus Our client base predominantly consists of stable adults with low acuity levels. All clients are pre-screened to ensure they are appropriate for remote therapy, with no severe mental health issues being present. This aligns with our commitment to providing safe, effective care that is both manageable and beneficial for both clients and clinicians. We strive to match counselors with clients who align with their areas of specialty and demographic preferences, ensuring a tailored fit that enhances therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

A completed

Master’s degree

in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

Valid licensure to practice independently; suitable licenses include:

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

No disciplinary actions against your license; limited or provisional licenses are not acceptable.

Ability to make informed evaluations and develop effective treatment planning strategies.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor, allowing you to connect effectively with clients.

Proficiency in computer use and technology, facilitating smooth navigation of counseling platforms.

Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in virtual counseling settings or those familiar with telehealth technologies will have a distinct advantage in managing client relationships remotely. Experience working with diverse populations and specific mental health issues can also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive annual salary ranging from

USD 115,000 to 130,000 , based on experience and hours worked.

Weekly direct deposit to ensure timely payment.

A monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors to support your well-being.
