Position Overview Hopeful Horizons Psychotherapy Center in Arlington, Texas, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will utilize your expertise to assess client needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide them through their mental health journeys.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health status and needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the unique challenges presented by each client.

Engage in regular therapy sessions, utilizing both individual and group therapy techniques to facilitate healing and growth.

Provide clients with essential coping strategies and tools to encourage resilience and promote self-sufficiency.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to integrate holistic care approaches when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse client base facing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Understanding the unique cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances of your clients will be crucial in delivering effective and sensitive care, fostering an atmosphere of trust and openness. By prioritizing cultural competence, you will ensure that all clients receive therapeutic interventions that resonate with their individual experiences.

Qualifications

A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a track record of successful client outcomes.

Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for building rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

Experience delivering culturally responsive individual and group therapy sessions.

Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.

Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a rewarding salary, our benefits package includes:
