Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Presence of Mind Counseling Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting individual and joint therapy sessions with couples and families, promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.
Evaluating client needs and developing individualized treatment plans to address diverse issues such as:
Substance and alcohol abuse.
Physical and emotional abuse recovery.
Grief and loss counseling.
Job-related stress management.
Therapeutic interventions for blended families navigating separation and divorce.
Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques in your practice, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to enhance client outcomes.
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Actively participating in team meetings and collaborative discussions to align on best practices and share insights that enhance overall service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your client focus will encompass a diverse mix of patients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various life challenges. This variety will enable you to tailor therapeutic practices to meet the unique needs of each client, contributing to a richer therapeutic experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
A valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others navigate their emotional struggles.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a clinical setting that includes direct client interaction is preferred, particularly in utilizing therapeutic techniques suited for couples and family dynamics. Notably, familiarity with teletherapy platforms will be advantageous as our practice emphasizes a combination of in-person and virtual counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package with an annual salary ranging from
