We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Parenting and Marriage Counseling, working primarily in a remote setting while providing essential mental health services to students in a school-based environment across Reno, Nevada. Work Environment
This full-time LCSW position allows for a flexible remote work environment while serving at local schools, creating an ideal work-life balance. Our remote setup is designed to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members while ensuring that our clients receive uninterrupted support. The nature of our work involves building relationships with school staff and other healthcare providers to create a cohesive support system for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' mental health needs, strengths, and available resources.
Provide individual, family, and group therapy tailored to the diverse and unique needs of students using evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and interventions aimed at promoting emotional resilience and coping strategies.
Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, creating a safe space for students to express and process their emotions.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, school counselors, teachers, and other professionals to coordinate holistic care for students and ensure that treatment plans are in alignment with academic and personal goals.
Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning when necessary, ensuring a proactive approach to managing immediate concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance service delivery and address any challenges faced in the therapeutic process.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The primary focus of this position includes working with children and adolescents in a school setting, addressing a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
Active state licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW).
Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic modalities and best practices pertinent to working with children and adolescents.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and school staff.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient or school-based mental health setting.
Experience developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to diverse populations.
Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and safety planning protocols.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a signing bonus to incentivize your transition to our team.
