The Family Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a School-Based Wellness Specialist. This full-time remote position will focus on providing therapeutic support to students and families within a school environment. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students’ mental health challenges, identifying strengths, resources, and areas for growth.
Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused therapy.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, psychologists, and psychiatrists to facilitate integrated and coordinated care for students.
Provide crisis intervention and safety planning in urgent situations, ensuring a supportive environment for students in distress.
Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes promoting mental health awareness and coping strategies among students.
Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related experiences. Your role will involve not just therapy but also engaging with parents, school staff, and community resources to build a comprehensive support network for each student.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health or outpatient environment, preferably within a school setting.
Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a proven track record of effective treatment outcomes.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
Compensation and Benefits
