Uplands Counseling Center Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic clinical team on a full-time, remote basis. Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in our clinical team, engaging in the following key responsibilities:
Conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of couples, families, and individuals.
Facilitating therapy sessions for couples and families, addressing a wide range of issues such as relationship conflicts, grief and loss, blended family dynamics, and communication difficulties.
Providing individual therapy to clients, focusing on interventions for challenges like job stress, medical issues, and emotional distress.
Collaborating with other clinicians and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to continually improve clinical skills and stay updated on best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, which includes individuals of all ages experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. Your focus will be on providing care for families facing issues such as:
Alcohol and substance abuse
Physical and psychological abuse
Grief and loss
Family conflicts and sibling rivalry
Challenges related to separation or divorce
Mother-daughter conflicts
Communication barriers
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Hold an active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of Texas.
Possess a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline.
Preferred Experience
We encourage candidates with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience to apply, particularly those who have worked with families and individuals navigating complex emotional and relational challenges.
Compensation and Benefits
Uplands Counseling Center Associates offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
