Position Overview Emerald Point Psychological Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote telehealth team. This full-time position allows you to engage meaningfully with clients while providing expert therapeutic support from the comfort of your home or any location with internet access. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.

Provide therapeutic services in the form of individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing methodologies that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or other relevant techniques based on client needs.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists—to deliver cohesive and comprehensive care to clients.

Document and maintain detailed progress notes, treatment plans, and case management files in compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal organizational policies to ensure accountability and transparency.

Engage in continuous professional development through clinical supervision and training opportunities, ensuring you stay current with best practices and emerging trends in the mental health field.

Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines while providing care, maintaining confidentiality, and creating a safe therapeutic environment for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus As a Telehealth LPC, you will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our approach centers on understanding each client’s unique background and needs, ensuring that our services are culturally sensitive and tailored to foster their mental wellness.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

Must possess a valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Proven experience practicing independently, showcasing your ability to manage client care in a self-directed manner.

Exceptional interpersonal and empathetic communication skills, essential for establishing rapport with clients and enabling effective therapeutic relationships.

Strong proficiency with computer systems, telehealth platforms, and case management software.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on telehealth preferred.

Experience with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or those in crisis situations.

Proficiency in leveraging technology for clinical documentation and client communication.
