Work Environment
This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while ensuring optimal service delivery to our clients. You will primarily engage with clients via teletherapy and phone consultations, allowing you to reach a diverse population across Salem, Oregon, and beyond. Our collaborative team structure enables seamless communication with other professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to deliver integrated client care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' personal goals and preferences, enabling the development of personalized treatment approaches tailored to their unique circumstances.
Create, implement, and adjust customized rehabilitation and treatment plans based on clients’ needs, capabilities, and ambitions, ensuring that clinical outcomes are continuously monitored and documented.
Engage in regular consultations with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, shadowing various professionals to gain insights that enhance client rehabilitation processes.
Maintain comprehensive client records, including treatment histories, session notes, progress updates, and communications. This documentation plays a pivotal role in tracking client improvement and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Regularly evaluate client progress and adapt intervention strategies, facilitating open dialogues with clients about their experiences to foster trust and cooperation.
Support clients during their participation in employment and job training programs, proactively addressing any barriers to their success in these initiatives.
Work collaboratively with families, providing guidance, resources, and support to both clients and their loved ones to enhance treatment outcomes.
Conduct regular evaluations to assess client needs, making necessary referrals to additional services or resources when appropriate.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Divine Mind and Soul Therapy, you will work with a varied clientele ranging from individuals with mental health issues, including anxiety and depression, to those requiring support with mood disorders. Your role is crucial in guiding them through tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at promoting resilience and recovery.
Qualifications
A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related discipline is required.
Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
Proven experience in mental health treatment, specifically with individuals experiencing mental health disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
A collaborative spirit with a commitment to working in a team-focused, interdisciplinary environment.
Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavior therapy.
Preferred Experience
Experience in remote counseling and teletherapy practice, demonstrating adaptability to changing client needs.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation effectively.
Prior experience in community mental health settings, emphasizing the delivery of accessible and culturally competent care.
