Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Bridge to Wellness, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough client assessments and evaluations to inform individualized therapeutic strategies.
Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailored to meet unique client needs.
Implementing a range of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create cohesive, comprehensive care plans that ensure the best outcomes for every client.
Maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, while utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software for documentation.
Engaging in professional development through workshops and training to stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health research.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The LPC will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families who often face significant barriers to mental health services. Our patient population may include those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues, allowing counselors to make a profound impact on their lives through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, ideally within a clinical environment.
Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practice.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client backgrounds.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team setting.
Proficiency in EMR systems and related technology.
Preferred Experience
Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse issues, or trauma-informed care.
Prior experience working in community health settings or with underrepresented populations.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, dependent on experience and caseload.
