Confidant Care Consultants is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Frisco, Texas. In this full-time position, you will be integral in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals battling mood disorders. Work Environment
This position is 100% remote, allowing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our clients and team. Our work culture promotes a healthy work-life balance, with a schedule that aligns with typical business hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety in clients.
Create individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.
Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote recovery.
Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic treatment.
Stay informed about the latest developments in mood disorder treatments to inform clinical practices.
Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards by accurately documenting therapy sessions and treatment protocols.
Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings to enhance cohesion and best practices within the team.
Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work toward reducing stigma related to mood disorders.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work primarily with clients facing mood disorders, including those who may struggle with severe depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. Your expertise will provide invaluable support and therapeutic interventions that cater to a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. Emphasizing empathy and understanding, your interactions will empower clients on their path to mental wellness.
Qualifications
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
Solid understanding of psychopharmacology and collaborative practices with medical professionals.
Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes in clients with mood disorders.
Exceptional communication skills to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working in community health settings is highly desirable.
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools for virtual therapy sessions.
Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
