Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Develop tailored treatment plans based on each client's unique circumstances, ensuring alignment with clinical best practices.
Provide individual therapy and counseling services to clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Engage with clients and families through remote sessions, maintaining thorough documentation of progress and clinical notes in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate treatment and ensure holistic care.
Advise and support clients in developing coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and personal growth techniques.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and respect for client privacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will serve a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults, who are experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our holistic approach takes into account the socio-cultural factors affecting mental health, allowing for culturally sensitive care that honors each client's background and experiences.
Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in counseling, particularly in a clinical setting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
Adept at using technology for telehealth practices, with familiarity in electronic health record management.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with varying degrees of mental health issues.
Proficiency in multiple therapeutic modalities and demonstrated effectiveness in applying them in practice.
Previous utilization of teletherapy platforms and remote counseling experience is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:
