Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, create tailored clinical diagnoses, and develop specific treatment plans that outline measurable goals.
Provide therapeutic intervention, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness techniques.
Deliver crisis intervention and support strategies during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive timely and appropriate care.
Maintain meticulous and confidential records related to client therapy sessions, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards of practice.
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan encompassing all aspects of clients' health.
Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, coping mechanisms, and support resources available in their communities, while actively advocating for their needs.
Stay abreast of advancements in the mental health field by participating in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our practice caters to a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and families, experiencing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications
Active licensing as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required.
A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline is essential for this role.
Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are crucial for effective client evaluation.
A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a mental health setting is required.
